The highly anticipated series AKTA is premiering soon. Now, the creators reveal more about what viewers can expect.

AKTA consists of six ten-minute episodes, each one as comedic and thought-provoking as the next. The series tackles heavy topics like addiction, mental health, and the male ego — all with a generous dose of humor.

In the cast, we see promising talents such as Anton Forsdik (known from Sjukt oklar, the Tele2 commercials, and Jordskred), Linus Adolphsson (Grotesco and 112 Aina), Sara Songbird (Tusen gånger starkare and YouTube personality), Edvard Olsson (Eagles and Maria Wern), Emil Almén (Gåsmamman and Gyllene Tider), and Elinor Fahlen (One More Time), among others.

Using humor as a tool, AKTA portrays a generation torn between endless possibilities and a harsh reality — something particularly important to its creators, Anton Forsdik and Moa Jacobsson. “We want to show that humor can be a powerful source of change and that we all need a bit of craziness in our lives” says Moa Jacobsson, to which Anton Forsdik adds: AKTA is a series by young people, for young people, and we dare to be genuine in a way no other show is”.

The series premieres at Kulturhuset on January 27, and will be available to stream on select platforms shortly thereafter. Then AKTA embarks on a tour across Sweden.

A trailer will be released soon — keep an eye on YouTube!

Watch Anton Forsdik, Edvin Ryding and Sass Wolgers in the award-winning short film Landslide about mental health.

A young man, tormented by inner demons and anguish, seeks solace in nature. One day, when he discovers a hidden gift beneath a tree, his entire existence undergoes a profound transformation.

The short film explores themes of alienation and loneliness among young adults.

Landslide was awarded Best Short Film at the 2024 International Filmmaker Festival of New York.

Available now for streaming on Prime Video, Cineasterna, and Afpitch.

Three young people from three different families — and one lone bird. They barely know each other, perhaps having only passed on the street. Each faces unique home circumstances.

Gabriel (played by Anton Forsdik) is a gay teen whose family refuses to accept him, leaving him feeling isolated and alone. Johannes (played by Malte Gårdinger) has been labeled with ADHD but claims the doctors are wrong, and he too feels abandoned in an unfair world.

We follow these young people as they struggle with deep loneliness and depression, longing to be accepted and loved by those closest to them. Their quest for inner freedom and security leads each down a different path through the city. Meanwhile, Gabriel’s thoughts soar above it all, reflecting on loneliness and fate—believing that fate isn’t limited to humans alone, but touches every living creature.

Our short film received awards for Best Screenplay and Best Director, and was named the Festival Winner at the 2017 Birmingham Film Festival.
